Three Killed After Car Bursts Into Flames in Kazakhstan's Aktobe - VIDEO

Three people, including two children, have been killed after a car caught fire at a gas station in Aktobe, Kazakhstan, according to the Aktobe Region Emergency Department.

The Aktobe_zello Instagram account shared a video claiming that a car, possibly with people inside, caught fire at one of the city’s gas stations, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazakh media.

"In Aktobe, a car caught fire at a gas station located at the intersection of Bokenbay Batyr and Makatayev (formerly Ozernaya) Streets. After the fire started, a man, believed to be the driver, was near the vehicle and asked for help. There are also reports that people may have been inside the car," the post stated.

The Aktobe Region Emergency Department later commented on the incident, saying the fire was brought under control within eight minutes and that emergency crews managed to prevent the flames from spreading to the gas station.

After the fire was extinguished, rescuers discovered the bodies of three people inside the vehicle, two of whom were minors. Another person was injured and taken to hospital.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
