Bomb Scare at Kyrgyz Philharmonic Sparks Evacuation

A bomb threat at the Toktogul Satylganov National Philharmonic Hall in Kyrgyzstan has triggered a mass evacuation and heightened security response.

On April 25, emergency services received a report claiming an explosive device had been planted inside the building. Police swiftly evacuated visitors and staff, cordoning off the area while specialists conducted a full inspection, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

The threat ultimately proved false, but officials launched a criminal investigation under charges of knowingly filing a false terrorism report.

Law enforcement rapidly identified a suspect - a teenager, 19, - who has since been detained and placed in temporary custody as the investigation continues.
