CIS Hails Kyrgyzstan’s Digitalized Early Parliamentary Vote

Head of the CIS International Election Observation Mission, Igor Petrishenko, has commended Kyrgyzstan for the strong organization of its early elections to the Jogorku Kenesh.

He shared his assessment during a meeting with President Sadyr Japarov, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

Petrishenko noted that Kyrgyzstan is showing steady economic growth, visible in nationwide construction projects, but highlighted digitalization as one of the country’s most impressive achievements-especially in the electoral sphere.

“Kyrgyzstan is undoubtedly a CIS leader in implementing digital technologies in elections,” he said, emphasizing that mission observers widely praised the technological setup. Modern voting equipment, video surveillance at all polling stations, and various digital tools contributed to what the mission called a fair and transparent process.

He added that the mission will finalize and update its conclusions once all data is processed and official results are released.
