The Kyrgyz sewing factory KG TEX plans to supply its products to the Azerbaijani market.
This statement was made during a working visit of Azerbaijan’s trade representative for Central Asia, Samad Hasanov, to Kyrgyzstan, The Caspian Post reports via the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
During the visit, Hasanov toured KG TEX, a project under the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund, inspecting its production capacities, working conditions, and contribution to the development of Kyrgyzstan’s light industry and job creation.
Officials noted that the planned exports from KG TEX to Azerbaijan are expected to strengthen trade turnover between the two countries and enhance economic ties.
In addition, Hasanov held meetings with the representatives of the Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, discussing the current state of bilateral trade and opportunities to expand mutual trade flows.
A meeting with the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund's leadership also explored further cooperation, including joint investment and infrastructure projects, aimed at deepening economic collaboration between the two nations.
