Kyrgyz Labor Minister Honors Legendary Cosmonaut for Boosting National Prestige

Ravshanbek Sabirov, Minister of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration of Kyrgyzstan, has met with pilot-cosmonaut Salizhan Sharipov, twice Hero of the Russian Federation and Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic, expressing deep gratitude for Sharipov’s vital contributions to enhancing Kyrgyzstan’s international reputation.

Sabirov emphasized that Sharipov’s remarkable achievements serve as an inspiring example for the country’s younger generation, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.

“You are a source of pride for our nation. Your life embodies dedication, perseverance, and devotion to the homeland. Our Ministry stands ready to collaborate on initiatives that foster human capital development and encourage youth motivation toward education and work,” Sabirov said.

The minister also highlighted the strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, particularly the need to strengthen cooperation in advanced technologies. Special focus was placed on Kyrgyz youth, noted for their strong potential, ambition for self-improvement, and enthusiasm for gaining new knowledge.

In turn, Sharipov expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and pledged to share his experience by participating in educational and motivational programs aimed at inspiring young people.
