Kyrgyz President Announces Snap Parliamentary Elections

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has officially signed a decree scheduling snap parliamentary elections.

The decree, issued in accordance with several provisions of the Kyrgyz Constitution and the country’s electoral law, sets the date for the election of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh, Kyrgyzstan’s parliament, on November 30, 2025, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

This announcement follows the recent decision by the Jogorku Kenesh to approve the self-dissolution of parliament, paving the way for the snap elections.
