Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan Discuss Parliamentary Ties

During his state visit to Pakistan, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has met with National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Senate Chairman Yusuf Raza Gilani to discuss strengthening interparliamentary cooperation.

The discussions focused on strengthening interparliamentary cooperation, enhancing political dialogue, and expanding the legal framework in transport, logistics, investment, and economic sectors, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

President Japarov highlighted parliament’s key role in state development, legislative reforms, and the importance of parliamentary friendship groups in deepening bilateral relations. Speaker Sadiq congratulated Japarov on Kyrgyzstan’s successful parliamentary elections and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to active engagement in inter-parliamentary forums.
