Kyrgyzstan’s Talas to Host Future Games in New Stadium for 5,000 Fans

A modern sports stadium designed to accommodate 5,000 spectators is currently under construction in the Kyrgyz city of Talas.

The project aims to boost regional sports infrastructure and provide a venue that meets international standards for hosting various competitions, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.

The facility is being developed on a 6.7-hectare site and will feature a three-story administrative building, a hybrid-grass football pitch, an eight-lane running track, and state-of-the-art lighting systems.

Kyrgyz Minister of Construction Nurdan Oruntaev visited the construction site this week to review progress and ensure the project remains on schedule.

In addition to the main stadium, the complex will include a training field and parking for 180 vehicles, making it a fully equipped sports hub for athletes and spectators alike.

The project is being financed through the republican budget, reflecting the government’s commitment to advancing sports and physical culture in the country’s regions.

Officials expect the stadium to become a key venue for local and national events, helping to foster athletic talent and strengthen community engagement through sports.
