Kyrgyzstan Surpasses Halfway Mark in Grain Harvest

The Kyrgyz Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry has announced that more than half of Kyrgyzstan’s grain harvest was completed.

As of the report date, farmers have harvested 340,100 hectares of grain crops, representing 50.1 per cent of the total 678,400 hectares sown. This marks an improvement compared to the same period last year, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.

Wheat harvesting covers 190,800 hectares, while barley fields total 149,200 hectares. Meanwhile, corn harvesting has begun in the Osh region. Across the country, the collection of vegetables, melons, and potatoes continues.
