Kyrgyzstan’s Cabinet of Ministers has approved an agreement with Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Defense on cooperation in the field of military intelligence.

The decision was adopted to complete Kyrgyzstan’s domestic procedures required for the agreement to enter into force, according to 24.kg.

The Foreign Ministry has been instructed to notify the Uzbek side that Kyrgyzstan has completed the necessary procedures.

The government resolution does not specify the areas of cooperation, mechanisms for exchanging information or the obligations of the two sides under the agreement.

The document will enter into force 10 days after its adoption.
