The Economy Ministry of Russia’s Udmurt Republic has reported a notable increase in bilateral trade volumes with Kyrgyzstan.
In a recent meeting, key regional officials-including Permanent Representative of the Head of the Udmurt Republic to the President of Russia Darya Suntsova; Anna Slugina, Minister of Economy of Udmurtia; and Valeria Antonenko, Head of the Export Support Center-engaged with Ermek Omuraliev, Trade and Economic Advisor at the Kyrgyz Embassy in Russia, and Azamat Alymkulov, Chairman of the Textile Committee under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
“Kyrgyzstan remains one of Udmurtia’s principal economic partners, as reflected by the consistent growth in bilateral trade,” the ministry stated. The meeting concluded with preliminary agreements between business participants and plans to organize an on-site business mission for Udmurt enterprises to Kyrgyzstan in October 2025.
