Armenia, Türkiye Advance Gyumri–Kars Railway Talks

Representatives of the relevant institutions of Armenia and Türkiye on Friday held a meeting at the Akyaka-Akhurik border crossing between the two countries and in the Armenian city of Gyumri.

The meeting was held in line with the agreements reached during the meetings between the special representatives for the Armenia-Türkiye normalization process, The Caspian Post reports, citing Armenian media.

“The second stage of technical discussions aimed at the restoration and operation of the Gyumri-Kars railway has been held,” Ruben Rubinyan, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and Armenia’s envoy in the Armenian-Turkish dialogue process said.
