Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has sent a message to his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, congratulating him on the arrival of Nowruz and the New Year and expressing satisfaction with the expansion of Iran-Russia relations.
In his message on Wednesday, Lavrov said he was pleased with the status of Iran-Russia relations, which were elevated to a strategic partnership in January, The Caspian Post reports, citing IRNA.
The Russian minister also expressed hope for the rapid growth in trade exchanges and the implementation of joint infrastructure projects.
Lavrov also emphasized the importance of enhanced consultations and coordination between the two nations on regional and international issues, as well as cooperation in implementing agreements reached between Iran and Russia.
