Official: No-Fly Zone Over Ukraine Would Mean War with Russia

Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has warned that establishing a no-fly zone over Ukraine and granting NATO countries the authority to target Russian drones would constitute an act of war against Russia.

“Frankly, the realization of the provocative idea promoted by Kyiv and others to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine, along with allowing NATO to target our drones, would mean only one thing - war between NATO and Russia,” Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel, The Caspian Post reports via Russian media.

The comments come amid ongoing tensions over military operations in Ukraine and discussions in Western capitals about potential support measures, including airspace restrictions and defense aid.
