US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin have begun their meeting in Alaska.
The two leaders sat side by side in a room at the base, The Caspian Post reports, citing Reuters.
They made no statements and answered no questions as reporters shouted queries.
The reporters were ushered out of the room quickly.
Trump and Putin began their meeting with a handshake.
The US leader welcomed his guest right on the runway at the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. He clapped hands greeting Putin walking along the red carpet and then patted him on the back. The two shook hands.
