Turkmenistan, Türkiye Discuss Strengthening Gas Industry Cooperation

A meeting between the heads of Turkmengas State Concern and a delegation from Türkiye's BOTAŞ, led by Director General Abdulvahid Fidani, took place in Ashgabat.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the gas industry, including increasing the export potential of Turkmenistan, were discussed, The Caspian Post reports, citing Turkmen media.

The initiatives for the development of the fuel and energy complex proposed by the National Leader of the Turkmen people and implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov are aimed at diversifying and strengthening international partnership. 

Türkiye, as one of the main trade and economic partners of Turkmenistan, plays a key role in this process. In March of this year, important documents were signed strengthening cooperation in the oil and gas industry between the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed confidence in the further development of mutually beneficial partnership in the interests of both peoples.
