Uzbekistan's President Concludes Working Visit to Tajikistan

Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has concluded his working visit to Tajikistan, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uza.

As part of his stay in Dushanbe, the head of state held talks with his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev also took part in the Second “Central Asia - Russia” Summit and in the regular meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The Uzbek leader put forward several initiatives aimed at expanding practical cooperation and enhancing the effectiveness of multilateral collaboration in the political, economic, and humanitarian spheres.

Following the visit, the distinguished guest was seen off at Dushanbe International Airport by the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda, and other officials. The head of state departed for Tashkent.
