7th Turkology Summer School Opens in Khankendi

The opening ceremony of the 7th Turkology Summer School, co-organized by Garabakh University, the Turkic Academy, and the Turkish Academy of Sciences, has commenced in Khankendi.

The primary aim is to build the scientific capacity of young scholars in the field of Turkology, promote the exchange of knowledge and experience among participants from various countries, and provide opportunities to learn modern scientific approaches and practical research methods, The Caspian Post reports citing AZERTAC.

The summer school, which will run until August 17, will host 32 young scholars and doctoral students from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Northern Cyprus, and North Macedonia, who will participate in intensive courses in various branches of Turkology - including linguistics, literary studies, history, ethnography, and cultural research.

The educational program is being conducted with the participation of 15 renowned scholars and experts invited from five countries - Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
