A 73-year-old hunter was killed in a bear attack in Russia’s Vologda Region.

The man’s body was discovered near the village of Ivanovskoye in the Ust-Kubinsky District, according to TASS.

The incident comes after another bear attack was recently reported in Russia. A 62-year-old tourist from Moscow was seriously injured after a bear attacked him while he was fishing on the Bolshoy Yenisei River in Tuva.

The fisherman suffered severe facial injuries and was taken to hospital. His life was not in danger.
