The death toll from a strike on a minibus in Ukraine's Kramatorsk has risen to 30, with 18 others injured.

The worsening security situation had prompted a decision to suspend public transportation in Kramatorsk and Sloviansk, according to strana.ua.

“Given the sharp deterioration in the security situation, the Kramatorsk and Sloviansk city military administrations were instructed to suspend public transport,” the Donetsk Regional Military Administration said.

The circumstances surrounding the strike and the condition of those injured are still being clarified.
