Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced that as the leader of a country that has successfully fought terrorism for many years and is now working to completely end terrorism, he would also like to state that Türkiye has many expectations from the Alliance in this area.

President Erdogan made the remarks while addressing the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Summit in Istanbul, The Caspian Post reports.

"If we want to fight the challenges we are facing, we must remove the obstacles to defense industry trade while ensuring balanced and fair burden-sharing among allies.

In this regard, the implementation of the decisions we made at previous summits on both of these main issues is very, very important," Erdogan said.
