EU Commissioner Proposes Armenia-Azerbaijan-Türkiye-EU Link

EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, has proposed the creation of a quadrilateral format for transport connectivity involving Armenia, Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and the European Union, The Caspian Post reports citing Armenian media.

“We started the discussions in October. I asked the minister to present Armenia’s priorities on the transport connectivity agenda today, and then we will discuss them together,” Marta Kos said at a joint press conference with Armenian FM Ararat Mirzoyan and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas.

The EU Commissioner noted that many steps can be taken under the connectivity agenda, but this is only possible under conditions of peace.
