As part of the Days of Uzbek Culture in Azerbaijan, renowned Uzbek artists visited the city of Shusha, the pearl of Karabakh.
The guests viewed the bullet-riddled monuments of Azerbaijan’s prominent art personalities such as Khurshidbanu Natavan, Bulbul and Uzeyir Hajibayli at the Central Square of Shusha, which had been damaged by Armenian occupiers, The Caspian Post reports, citing AZERTAC.
They then got acquainted with the house of Khurshidbanu Natavan, the “Khan gizi” spring, as well as the Walls of Shusha Fortress and the Yukhari Govhar Agha Mosque.
Such visits contribute to the further strengthening of cultural ties and friendship between the brotherly peoples.
The closing ceremony of Uzbek Days of Culture will be held today at the Secondary school No. 1 named after Mirzo Ulugbek in the city of Fuzuli.
