Powerful Explosion Hits Major Oil Pipeline in Russia’s Saratov

A powerful explosion has occurred on a major oil pipeline in Russia’s Krasnoarmeysky District, Saratov Region.

The blast reportedly disabled the Kuibyshev-Lysychansk main oil pipeline, which supplies oil products to the Russian military, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.

The pipeline has an annual capacity of 82 million tons.

In the aftermath, workers were observed at the scene in the morning, working to address the damage caused by the incident.

This explosion marks the third Russian oil and gas infrastructure facility to be disrupted within the last 24 hours. Earlier incidents included blasts on gas and oil pipelines in the Penza Region of Russia.
