Russian President Vladimir Putin has cast his ballot remotely in the country’s State Duma election.

Russia has begun voting to elect deputies to the State Duma of the ninth convocation, according to rbc.ru.

The three-day voting period runs from September 18 to 20, with polling stations open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (GMT+3).

The election will determine the composition of Russia’s lower house of parliament for the next legislative term.
