Preparations are underway in India for Russian President Vladimir Putin’s talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Putin arrived in New Delhi on September 11 for a three-day visit linked to the BRICS summit, according to iz.ru.

The Russian president’s government-operated Il-96 aircraft landed at Palam Air Force Station in the Indian capital.

During his visit, Putin is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Modi.

The two sides will also visit the Innoprom industrial exhibition, organized by the industry and trade ministries of Russia and India.

Putin is also expected to address the BRICS Business Forum during his visit.
