Russia has proposed Vietnam to consider jointly creating strategic fuel reserves on its territory, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"Russian companies are also interested in arranging the transit of energy resources through Vietnam to neighboring countries," Putin said, according to TASS.

The Russian leader said that such requests are already coming from those countries, which have proposed establishing energy supplies in cooperation with Vietnamese partners.
