Russian President Vladimir Putin has a 71% trust rating among respondents.
The poll was conducted from September 11 to 13 among 1,500 Russian respondents, TASS reports.
“Seventy-one percent of Russians expressed trust in Vladimir Putin. At the same time, the majority of the population (73%) believe that he performs his duties well as head of state,” the Public Opinion Foundation polling organization said.
The survey also found that 50% of respondents gave a positive assessment of the Russian government’s performance.
Meanwhile, 53% of those surveyed said Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is doing a good job as head of the government.
The figures reflect the responses recorded during the September 11-13 survey period and represent the views of the respondents who participated in the poll.
