Russian forces struck a residential high-rise in Kharkiv, Ukraine, with an aerial bomb.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said people may be trapped under the rubble of the damaged building, according to UNIAN.

Three people are known to have been killed, while at least 35 others were injured.

A search-and-rescue operation is underway at the scene as emergency crews continue to search for survivors.
