Russia's top media outlets have published articles covering Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's working visit to Washington, D.C., and the upcoming signing of documents between Azerbaijan and Armenia at the White House.

The TASS News Agency, citing a post by U.S. President Donald Trump on the Truth Social platform, reported that the U.S. President would host the Azerbaijani President and the Armenian Prime Minister at the White House, with the signing of bilateral economic agreements also on the agenda, The Caspian Post reports citing AZERTAC.

Lenta.ru quoted U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio as saying that the signing of the agreement would mark the beginning of a peace deal between the two nations.

Reports from “Moskovsky Komsomolets,” “Gazeta.ru,” “Vestnik Kavkaza,” “Kommersant,” “Vedomosti,” and “Islam News” also highlighted the critical importance of the forthcoming meeting, citing President Trump’s remarks and noting the readiness of both Azerbaijan and Armenia to abolish the OSCE Minsk Group.
