A Qatar Airways flight bound for Tbilisi made an unscheduled landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku after adverse weather conditions prevented it from continuing to its destination.
Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) confirmed that Qatar Airways flight QTR253, operating from Doha to Tbilisi, was diverted to the Azerbaijani capital, The Caspian Post reports.
According to AZAL, the captain decided to divert the flight because of unfavorable weather conditions in Tbilisi.
