Turkish Leader Announces Plan to Visit Gaza

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has announced plans to visit the Gaza Strip in the future.

Speaking to members of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) in the Black Sea province of Rize, Erdoğan emphasized the importance of ensuring that any potential ceasefire agreement leads to lasting peace, The Caspian Post informs via Russian media.

“The Israeli government must fulfill its commitments and fully abandon its aggressive policy, which endanger not only the security of the entire region but also that of its own citizens,” Erdoğan stated.

He further underscored that the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza must face no obstacles, reiterating that “a two-state solution is the key to sustainable peace in our region.”
