Turkish authorities have detained 15 suspects in simultaneous operations targeting the clandestine network of FETÖ across Istanbul, Burdur and Ordu provinces.

The operation followed an investigation that examined digital data obtained from a secret witness, banking transactions, money transfers to organizations linked to FETÖ, and records of sequential calls made from public payphones, according to TRT Haber.

Investigators suspect that the detainees held responsible positions within the organization’s internal structure, including its clandestine unit operating within law enforcement agencies.

The suspects include current and former public officials.

All 15 detainees have been taken to police custody for further investigative procedures.
