Türkiye Reports 6.7 Billion in Defense Industry Exports in 2025

Türkiye’s defense and aviation industry recorded a remarkable 31% year-on-year increase in exports during the first 10 months of 2025, reaching a total of $6.7 billion, according to the head of the Defense Industries Secretariat.

Haluk Gorgun announced the figures on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal, noting that the defense and aerospace sector’s share in Türkiye’s total exports has risen to 3.5%, The Caspian Post reports, citing Anadolu.

“This sustained export success in our sector is the result of the defense industry cooperation activities we carry out around the world,” Gorgun stated, emphasizing the country’s ongoing commitment. “We continue these efforts with unflagging determination.”

Overall, Türkiye’s total exports between January and October stood at $224.6 billion, marking a 3.9% increase compared to the same period last year.
