Tajik Envoy Talks Domestic, Foreign Policy with Students

Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Moscow, Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzoda, has met with Tajik students in Russian universities and discussed key points of President Emomali Rahmon’s message on the country’s domestic and foreign policy.

He emphasized that Tajikistan’s priorities include improving citizens’ quality of life, ensuring security and the rule of law, maintaining peace and stability, and advancing education, culture, healthcare, and youth and women’s leadership, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.

Gulmahmadzoda highlighted the critical role of youth in national development. He noted that the skills students acquire abroad are in high demand in Tajikistan and encouraged them to make full use of educational opportunities, including deepening knowledge and learning foreign languages.

The ambassador also urged students to uphold national values, foster patriotism, resist extremism and terrorism, avoid provocations, and prevent youth from being drawn into extremist organizations. He stressed the importance of respecting the laws and traditions of the host country.

Previously, Gulmahmadzoda met Tajik citizens at Moscow’s Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo airports, discussing protection of their rights in Russia and facilitating timely returns home. He also emphasized the importance of following Russian laws, respecting local culture, preventing criminal incidents, combating radicalization, and responsibly using social media to strengthen civic awareness.
