Tajikistan and Kuwait reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in consular affairs during talks between Tajik Ambassador Khusrav Noziri and Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs Aziz Rahim Al-Daihani.

This was reflected in the statement by the Tajikistan's Foreign Ministry, Trend reports.

The meeting, held on August 2 in Kuwait, focused on strengthening bilateral engagement in consular matters and enhancing coordination between the two countries' foreign ministries.

"The parties confirmed their readiness to continue close cooperation in the consular sphere," Tajikistan's Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Although the ministry did not disclose specific initiatives discussed during the meeting, the talks underscored both governments' interest in maintaining regular dialogue on consular issues and ensuring effective cooperation in matters affecting their citizens.
