Ashgabat Welcomes Turkmen Diaspora for Landmark Humanitarian Association Meeting

The 26th conference of the World Turkmens Humanitarian Association has been held in Ashgabat at the Public Organization of Turkmenistan on the eve of Turkmenistan’s 34th Independence anniversary, bringing together members of the Turkmen diaspora from around the globe and association representatives from across the country.

Strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties with Turkmens living abroad continues to be a key priority of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

Members of the diaspora regularly host events to promote Turkmen culture, traditions, history, and language. The conference served as a platform for discussions on expanding these initiatives and enhancing cooperation with Turkmen communities worldwide.

As part of the forum, the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan organized an exhibition showcasing national treasures in fine and decorative-applied arts. The display provided participants with an in-depth look at the rich history, culture, and artistic heritage of the Turkmen people.
