Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has issued a Resolution instructing Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to oversee the high-level organization of the Turkmenistan Investment Forum (TIF 2025).
The international event will take place on September 18-19, 2025, in the Avaza National Tourist Zone on the Caspian Sea coast, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.
The president’s directive highlights the strategic importance of the forum in advancing Turkmenistan’s socio-economic development, improving the national investment climate, increasing export potential, and fostering international partnerships.
TIF 2025 is expected to attract more than 500 delegates from 45 countries. The two-day event will feature over 100 international speakers, who will share insights on global economic trends and discuss investment opportunities in key sectors of Turkmenistan’s economy, including energy, transport, agriculture, and digital development.
Designed to strengthen Turkmenistan’s role in the global economic arena, the forum will serve as a platform for establishing business ties, signing investment agreements, and showcasing the country’s potential as a reliable and attractive destination for foreign investors.
Officials view the upcoming forum as a pivotal step in positioning Turkmenistan as an emerging player in international markets and reinforcing its image as a stable and cooperative economic partner.
