Azerbaijan Welcomes Chairman of Turkmen People’s Council

Chairman of Turkmenistan’s Halk Maslahaty (People’s Council), Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, has arrived in Azerbaijan for an official visit aimed at further strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

The distinguished guest was welcomed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, where the national flags of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan were displayed in a show of friendship and mutual respect, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

An honor guard was lined up to greet Berdimuhamedov, underscoring the importance of the visit.

Berdimuhamedov was received by a high-level Azerbaijani delegation, including First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov, Deputy Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov, and other senior officials.
