Turkmenistan and China Discuss Bilateral Relations in Ashgabat

On March 11, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov held a meeting with Xing Shanping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Communist Party of Shaanxi Province of China, according to the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

The sides noted that the Turkmen-Chinese interaction of comprehensive strategic partnership are dynamically developing in a wide range of areas, The Caspian Post reports citing Akipress.

Favorable conditions for the development of interstate relations are created by high level of trust and friendship that has developed between the heads of the two states.

Contacts between parliaments and parties are currently actively developing, and visits of representatives of political parties of the two countries are organized on a regular basis.

During the meeting, the parties noted that trade-economic partnership plays a key role in strengthening the dialogue of friendship.

On the cultural and humanitarian track, established cooperation was noted in the fields of science, education, cultural exchanges, and the study of the Chinese language.

The interlocutors emphasized that reciprocal Days of Culture give impetus to further expansion of humanitarian ties and enrich bilateral cooperation with new content.
