Turkmenistan, Estonia Explore New Avenues for Bilateral Partnership

Turkmen Deputy Foreign Minister Akhmet Gurbanov has met with Mariin Ratnik, Estonian Foreign Ministry’s Undersecretary for Economic and Development Affairs, at the Berkarar Hotel in Avaza to discuss the current status and future prospects of bilateral relations, highlighting areas of mutual interest.

The sides discussed cooperation within international organizations, particularly the UN and the EU, The Caspian Post reports per Turkmen media.

The Estonian delegation highlighted the importance of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.

Both sides expressed strong interest in enhancing trade and economic cooperation, especially in the field of digitalization.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on regional and global issues. The diplomats underscored the significance of Turkmenistan’s policy of peaceful neutrality and noted ongoing preparations for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, set to take place in Ashgabat this December.
