In 2026, the National Tourist Zone “Avaza” on Turkmenistan’s Caspian coast will host a series of high-level international forums.
Turkmenistan’s National Leader, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, conducted a working visit to Balkan province to review preparations for the upcoming international events and examine related organizational projects, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.
During the visit, officials presented detailed plans for the forum building, including its location on the Caspian coast, interior finishing works, conference halls, and lighting systems. They showcased project designs and outlined the progress of preparatory and finishing works, which are being carried out according to a special schedule. Advanced modern technologies and best practices are being applied, with private construction companies overseeing the projects.
Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of completing all planned works to a high standard and within the set deadlines. He also highlighted the need to focus on interior design, furniture color coordination, and the meticulous execution of all tasks, noting that preparations remain under the constant supervision of the president of Turkmenistan.
Additionally, the chairman of the Halk Maslahaty (People's Council) of Turkmenistan reviewed the exhibition complex for the international forum and provided guidance to officials on ensuring the venue meets international standards for hosting exhibitions.
