Turkmenistan Welcomes Three-Day Celebration of Azerbaijani Culture

The Days of Azerbaijani Culture have officially opened in Turkmenistan, bringing a vibrant showcase of Azerbaijan’s artistic, literary, and cinematic heritage to audiences in Ashgabat and Arkadag.

The cultural program begins with screenings of the feature films “Taghiyev. Oil” and “Paradise Dream,” offering visitors a glimpse into Azerbaijani history and storytelling traditions, The Caspian Post reports via Report.

The opening day also includes a lecture dedicated to the literary and artistic legacy of Azerbaijan’s celebrated national poet, Samad Vurgun, as well as the presentation of several cultural exhibitions.

A gala concert featuring leading Azerbaijani performers and masters of the arts will take place in the evening, highlighting the country’s rich musical and artistic traditions.

The Days of Azerbaijani Culture will run for three days and are being held in the Turkmen cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag.

The event aims to strengthen cultural ties between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan while promoting greater appreciation of Azerbaijan’s heritage, literature, cinema, and performing arts.
