Freight Train Cars Derail Near Almazar Station in Tashkent Region

On the night of September 27, 2025, at approximately 21:30, two freight train cars derailed near Almazar station on the Rasulabad railway line in the Chinaz district of Tashkent region, Uzbekistan.

The train was transporting dairy products along the Jizzakh-Tashkent route, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.

No casualties were reported. Emergency services, district authorities, and relevant response teams were promptly dispatched to the scene to handle the situation.

An investigation has been launched into the incident. Train traffic on the section has been fully restored.
