A high-level Uzbek delegation, led by Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, will visit Bahrain and Qatar from August 19 to 21, 2025, to strengthen bilateral relations and explore opportunities for economic, trade, and investment cooperation.
During the visit, the delegation will hold a series of meetings with government representatives and executives of leading companies, The Caspian Post informs per Uzbek media.
Uzbekistan established diplomatic relations with Bahrain in 1995, laying the groundwork for expanding political, economic, and cultural cooperation. Over the years, both nations have strengthened trade ties, explored investment opportunities, and collaborated in sectors such as finance, tourism, and education. Similarly, Uzbekistan and Qatar forged diplomatic relations in 1992, shortly after Uzbekistan gained independence, and have since developed a robust partnership emphasizing economic cooperation, investment, energy, and education.
