Kyrgyz, Uzbek Ministers Push to Boost Trade to $2 Billion at Bishkek Forum

Kyrgyz Economy and Commerce Minister Bakyt Sydykov has met with Uzbek Investment, Industry, and Trade Minister Laziz Kudratov on the sidelines of the CAREC Business Forum in Bishkek to review the state of bilateral economic relations and explore new opportunities for expanded cooperation.

A key focus was the strategic goal set by both presidents: raising mutual trade turnover to $2 billion, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.

The ministers also discussed preparations for upcoming joint events designed to strengthen business ties and support investment partnerships. They touched on promising cooperation areas, including industry, transport logistics, agriculture, and energy.
