SamFerre, a member of Uzbekistan’s Uzelttexsanoat Association, has signed a cooperation memorandum aimed at entering the Syrian market during the Syrian-Uzbek Economic Forum held in the Syria.
The agreement marks a new step in strengthening trade and economic ties between Uzbekistan and Syria in the electrical engineering sector, with a focus on expanding exports of Uzbek-made electrical products, The Caspian Post reports via UzDaily.
Under the memorandum, SamFerre plans to supply electrical equipment and technology products to Syria while building long-term business partnerships and stable bilateral cooperation channels between companies from both countries.
The deal also prioritizes the practical implementation of export deliveries and deeper industrial collaboration as Uzbekistan looks to expand its presence in international markets.
The memorandum is expected to boost the export potential of Uzbekistan’s electrical engineering industry and open new sales markets for domestically produced goods in the Middle East region.
