A delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Jamshid Khodjayev, currently visiting China, held a meeting with the leadership of China National Gold Group.
During the discussion, the parties addressed the strengthening and expansion of a mutually beneficial partnership, particularly in valuable and critical mineral resources, The Caspian Post reports citing UzA.
Following the negotiations, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan and China National Gold Group.
The document outlines cooperation in areas such as geological exploration of promising territories, development of mineral deposits, production of value-added products, project financing, implementation of advanced technologies, and specialist training.
The memorandum will contribute to further strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China, while also opening up new opportunities for the development of the mining industry and geology in the country.
