At the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly’s annual session in Istanbul, Odiljon Mamatkarimov, Deputy Chairman of the Uzbek Senate Committee on International Relations, Foreign Economic Ties, Foreign Investments and Tourism, has met with OSCE PA Vice President Gabor Hajo to discuss ways to strengthen interparliamentary cooperation.
During the talks, the two sides discussed sharing legislative experience, and boosting trade, economic, and cultural ties between Uzbekistan and Romania, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.
Special emphasis was placed on increasing bilateral trade, advancing joint investment projects, and enhancing coordination within international organizations.
Following the meeting, both parties agreed to deepen interparliamentary cooperation and maintain regular dialogue through ongoing meetings and working consultations.
