Uzbekistan has officially opened its national pavilion under the brand “Invest in Uzbekistan” at the 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) in Xiamen, China.
Launched in 1997, CIFIT is China’s largest annual investment and trade exhibition and a major international platform for promoting economic cooperation, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.
This year’s forum has attracted delegations from dozens of countries and more than 500 leading Chinese companies spanning a wide range of industries.
Over the course of four days, Uzbekistan’s pavilion will highlight the country’s investment prospects across agriculture, geology, tourism, chemicals, textiles, and leather and silk production. The program features presentations, product showcases, thematic seminars, and a dedicated business forum with the participation of Uzbek and Chinese entrepreneurs.
A series of high-level government-to-government (G2G), government-to-business (G2B), and business-to-business (B2B) meetings are also scheduled to boost bilateral cooperation and attract fresh investment into Uzbekistan’s economy.
